SHAWN FELSKI
Growing up, I was always enamored by stylized and flashy animation. Shows like "Avatar: The Last Airbender", "Ben 10", "Generator Rex", "Dragon Ball Z", and more shaped the early foundation for my fascination with animation. Throughout my education, I always had the goal of working in the animation industry in some capacity, and even dabbled in it lightly while in high school. It wasn't until college that I was finally able to pour my passion into animation, and pursue it as a career. Creating art is my greatest love, and breathing life into it with motion is what I believe to be the ultimate expression of that art.

"SYMFAUNIC"
Symfaunic Team
I was fully involved, from the first brainstorming sessions and initial sketches, all the way through the production process to the final animation. Our team was relentlessly thorough in every phase of this project. We gave it our all and produced something beautiful.
During the layout phase I translated the directors vision to reality through pre and post-visualization. This included character blocking and posing, as well as camera positioning and shot pacing. Later in production as rough animator on several sequences, I had my hands in quite a few shots, bringing the characters to life while refining pace and composition before handing my work off to clean-up.
In the final days of production, I aided in the sound design of the film. I recorded various pieces of Foley and provided them to the audio engineer for use in the film. After many months of hard work and many late nights, our incredibly dedicated team was able to deliver the award winning short film... Symfaunic.
